Daniel van Strien is a Machine Learning Librarian at Hugging Face. His work centres around utilizing library science concepts to promote a more effective and beneficial open machine-learning community. Additionally, he explores how machine learning can be effectively applied in the GLAM sector (Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums). Before joining Hugging Face, Daniel held several positions within the library field, including a recent project involving machine learning at the British Library.
